Love Is Stronger Than Hate

"Let your love be stronger than your hate or anger.  Learn the wisdom of compromise, for it is better to bend a little, than to break."  H.G. Wells

When we love, we can begin to see ourselves as human beings who have many differences but yet are the same.  It is the core of our sameness that can allow us to see the other side of an argument.  We can begin to make adjustments to create a win-win situation that meets the needs of both.

"There never was any heart truly great and generous that was not also tender and compassionate."  Robert South

I think that we can decide to have a truly great heart and and make the world a better place by using our resources to help each other.  Compassion arises with active listening, willingness to find a middle ground and with love, begin healing our anxiety, fear and selfishness. We can rediscover our humanity, kindness and tenderness as we meet our adversaries half way!

"The first duty of love is to listen."  Paul Tillich

Let's give love and listening a chance!  It is obvious that the opposite is not working!
