Giving

We are all in this life together.  We all have the same needs for safety, a home, adequate food and medical care, opportunity for education, freedom to practice our faith and peace to live among our neighbors without prejudice. We become better people when we can reach out to others in their need and know that others will be there for us when we need it. No one can exist alone.

Love Is Stronger Than Hate

When we love, we can begin to see ourselves as human beings who have many differences but yet are the same.  It is the core of our sameness that can allow us to see the other side of an argument.  We can begin to make adjustments to create a win-win situation that meets the needs of both.

I think that we can decide to have a truly great heart and and make the world a better place by using our resources to help each other.  Compassion arises with active listening, willingness to find a middle ground and with love, begin healing our anxiety, fear and selfishness. We can rediscover our humanity, kindness and tenderness as we meet our adversaries half way!

Let's give love and listening a chance!  It is obvious that the opposite is not working!

No matter what life hands you, God is here to help us on our journey.  We waste many hours worrying about everything that "might" happen, things we need to get done, or what we "should" do.  It is time to get our priorities in line and figure out what important tasks need to be done by us. Just do those and let God do the rest!
